Maile Girl gives the thumbs up to feeling MUCH better!
First, Maile Girl wanted me to pass along a big “thank you” to everyone who expressed concern about her well being. She definitely turned the corner a bit today. She is still pretty fussy and uncomfortable, but her fever went way down and she was almost back to her normal self in terms of playing with her toys and everything. She doesn’t have a great appetite and she wants to nurse constantly, so today was definitely a long, tiring day for Mommy – but we were both very happy to see our little girl start to act like our little girl again.
Most of the pox have started to scab over and there didn’t seem to be any new ones so hopefully we’re just a few days away from being through this particular episode!
