Maile and I are going to Chicago this weekend to visit Great Grandma Bea and Great Grandpa Irv (and also see Grandma Jill, Grandpa Mike and a bunch of other family members). This will actually be the first time Maile and I fly solo – should be interesting! Tonight I was loading up the iPad with some video distractions and came across this one from exactly one year ago:

Looks like Maile was just starting to communicate a little bit. Tonight, Mommy took another video of Maile starting to learn how to communicate – this time with the computer:

Can’t believe there is only one year of difference between those two videos. Even just looks-wise, she looks so much more grown up already. Slow down, Maile Girl, slow down…
(Dad note: The keyboard she is using is MyPC Stage 1 Toddler Keyboard – it’s great. It’s fully functional and you can put it in the dish washer. Perfect combination!)
