After hearing the news that Steve Jobs passed away this afternoon, I packed up for home, gave Maile (and Christine) a big hug when I arrived, and then Maile and I played some iPad games for awhile. Felt like a nice way to pay our respects.
Tonight I thought I’d repost a couple videos from the past about Maile’s interactions with some of the wonderful things Steve and his team created.

Yes, Apple is a business. (And they’ve certainly made a lot of money off of this family!) But the devices they’ve created are magical. Nothing has proven that to me more than watching Maile pick up and use an iPad at just a little over a year old. I’ve never met Steve Jobs, but the devices he’s created impact my life every single day both professionally and personally. For that I am thankful.
