Guess what? Grandma Jill and Papa Mike got me a really cool gift for my birthday – my very own easel! What is an easel? Why, it’s a stand that you can use to paint. It holds the paper just right. I find that the vertical orientation is much better to get my creative juices flowing vs. leaning over a table. Plus, I got all types of paints and brushes and a smock to cover up my clothes.
Mommy and Daddy took down all my old art from the walls and I’ve been working on new art. After all, I’m a 3 year old now!

First you have to mix up your paints until they are just right...
... and then you paint. You'll notice that my preferred position for painting is one hand on my hip. I find this gives me good balance and makes my art better!
